I went to pompeii for a day.
Unfortunately my sister was running late. rather late. late for pompeii.
Instead of going home ,as the sun was shining, i decided to go lay down at Carlton gardens.
fell asleep.
wandered.
took photos.

weekends are great.
sunny weekends, even MORE great.
i defiantly cannot wait for spring.

a day in pomapii

my sister finally arrived.

we got lost. But found our way to Phar Lap.

we eventually found it.
we wondered around for a few hours - body casts, burial practices, blinggggg$$. it was pretty amazing.

we also purchased roman snake rings at the gift shop.

This pretty much speaks for itself...

Things just tend to get rowdy at Scare gigs...

Harry Potter and the house full of nutters

We had a Harry Potter party. There were spells and potions and magic beans and fairy dust. We did club action at least 6 times.

The grass is greener at the Quizberry

Thursday trivia nights just keep getting more and more eventful.
We met some New Zealanders who asked us if we knew where to get a spliff. Then I decided I want to become a travel agent and get high in a million different places all around the world.

We generally failed at trivia, but won 2 bonus rounds! Which meant 2 free jugz of beeer. Props to Daniel for his lame joke skillz. And props to Mothcontroll who owns at the PHYSICAL CHALLENGE.
Then we picked up my laundry and came home for nutbush and club action as usual.

Then we all died a happy happy death. Trivia nights WIN.

((EDIT - I've just come to realisation that this is our 1ooth post. yeEAHH bOii. 100 POST WINN!))

I've got no money, no dignity.

Yet another Scare weekend has passed. I cannot even comprehend what happened, so I wont bother try to explain it.

Chronicles of a broken jaw

A grey headed orange mustached walrus-dog, a checkerboard whisker faced feline, painkiller induced dreams and visions, and a freezer full of frozen soup

The last two weeks of my life...

Here in my car I feel safest of all

We love roadtrips
We missed our turnoff to Daylesford and almost headed to Radelaide, but a quick turnaround and a good bush bash got us back on course
Set up our tent in the back of our friend's holiday house, and kept warm by squishing the 5 of us in a 3 man tent

Me, Millballz and Mothcontrol ended up going for a late night adventure walk down the road, and lay on the road watching the stars. Fear of traffic then persuaded us to head back to the tent for a few hours restless sleep, before heading off again first thing in the morning

We made a number of pit stops on the way back to Melbourne. First was Macca Dees for breakfast. Then to 'The Cross'; a rather bizarre hill with little prayer rooms and the stations of the cross around it, and a big neon cross on top

We continued to head back to Melbourne, but the sun came out and we felt our adventure was not yet over. Another course change lead us to Caitlin's house which burnt down in the Black Saturday bushfires. We found dress-ups in the shed and went for a wander in her mum's Japanese garden and soaked up the sun
